BASIC INFORMATION

KPA test and monitoring units (for TV3-117 and VK-2500 engines) and information and diagnostics units (IDK for TV-117 and IDK-88 for the RD-33 engine family) are designed to:

• engine and engine system troubleshooting;
• read, display and record data from the flight recorder transmitted directly from the aircraft and promptly analyze this information;
• calculate engine operation time in various modes; diagnose engine and engine system problems; evaluate and forecast their condition;
• maintain an integrated database for all engines operated by a given squadron;
• support scheduled maintenance and troubleshooting.
