BASIC INFORMATION
The new turboshaft TV-117V engine is based on its certified turboprop cousin TV7-117. Ninety percent of their parts are in fact identical.
PRODUCT QUALITY
Better safety
The TV7-117V family provides better safety by making emergency power of 2800-3750 hp available in extreme situations. The engine features a new FADEC system based on the BARK-12 or BARK-57 electroniс engine control unit.
Universal platform
Two versions of the engine are produced:
- with the power shaft in front - the TV7-117V/VM model for the Mi-38 helicopter and its versions;
- with the power shaft in the rear - the TV7-117VK model for upgrading Mi-28 and Ka50/Ka52 helicopters.
