BASIC INFORMATION

GPTM marine power units (power class from 1000 to 3400 hp) are developed and produced on the basis of  TV2-117, TV3-117, GTD-1250 and other Klimov’s aircraft and tank gas turbine engines. Marine power units are designed to operate as a power plant component on multipurpose marine and river speed boats with a maximum speed of up to 100 knots, as well as on hovercraft.

PRODUCT QUALITY

A marine gas turbine power unit is a module mounted on a single frame and consisting of the gas turbine engine(s) per se, the reduction gearbox, the input and output systems, the fuel flow regulators, the lubricating system and the electric system. 

The GTP power units are highly reliable, whether running on diesel fuel, gasoline, kerosene or their mixtures in any proportion, as well as on natural gas. Depending on the required power output, the unit includes of one or two engines. When installed on a specific boat, the unit design may be modified according to the customer’s needs.

The Klimov Company ensures delivery, installation and the complete range of servicing (maintenance, warranty repairs, overhaul, delivery of spare parts) for the GPTM gas turbine power units.
